Coloring Books

When you mention books and writing you automatically think of books being full of text and relevant illustrations , but there are books that leave everything to your imagination and are virtually blank.
These are of course coloring books and sketch books and they bring much joy to the children of the world.
Just as with adults reading a traditional story, there will always be something magical about a coloring book to a child. It is an adventure waiting to happen.
There are pictures and stories that they can enjoy, and they are allowed to make them anything that they want them to be. They can color a tree purple if they like, and they can color their world yellow if that is where they want to be, and how they want to see things. If you look through what my daughter has done, you will find blue cows, purple grass, and a great big green sun. A coloring book is anything they want it to be.
Not all good books need to be written!
