What’s the key to Publishing Your Own Book? There’s a way to just about guarantee your publication inside a single year. No, it has nada to do with self-publication. This trail isn’t for dilettantes, and will push you to the edge, but it has worked for many my scholars, and it’ll work for you
It relies on writing guidelines first suggested by 2 giants in the publishing field, science-fiction writers Ray Bradbury, and Robert Heinlein, over 30 years back. And no, you do not have to be a science fiction writer. Irrespective of what your Final goalnovel, movie script, playwriter, or poet, you can evolve this strategy. Write a tale a week, or a tale every fortnight.

Poetry? Well, in this example, write a poem a week! Non-Fiction? Sure! Write an article a week!
Read 10X what you write. There’s nothing sadder than a young writer who doesn’t read for fear of contaminating his style. This is complete self-delusion. A writer Hopelessly desires to read all she can get her hands onand of the best quality. Personally, I read one act of Shakespeare out loud each morning, to at the same time improve my writing and talking capability.
Put your stories in the post. Honestly, it is irrelevant how much. Cash is a particularly cold equation, something else from pats on the back, cheers, contributors copies or awards. THIS is the feedback you want : a check that clears the bank. Get your stories out! And web publication is just fine in this regardas long as there’s money.

Don’t re-write except to editorial request. If you can do this, I guarantee you your first sales within 50 stories. At the tale a week level, that is one year! Only one year from today, you might be a paid author. And for any real writer, that should be an idea exciting enough to keep them up late, and get them up early, typing away, knowing that that first acknowledgment check is less than 365 days way.
